Design has been a large part of my life for a long time now. I walk down the street and critique the ads and signs I see. My office is littered with prints of designs for advertisements and signage that I have been working on; there is a stack of design magazines and references in the corner tall enough to be a wooden toddler. I love design, it is my life. Luckily my wife is a designer and understands my passion. Her name is Juliette; we live in a place called Austin Texas.

Designing for the web involves a completely different set of challenges from working in print. These challenges keep the process interesting and fulfilling.
Designing business identities is my favorite aspect of graphic design. Everything from designing the logo to choosing colors and fonts appeals to me immensely.
Newspaper ads are a large portion of my workload in any given week. I enjoy the creation of artwork in grayscale and the challenges it represents.
Due to cost constraints, magazine advertisements tend to be small or irregularly shaped. This element of the unusual makes designing these ads very satisfying.
Information design is one discipline within the industry that I enjoy but have rarely had the opportunity to explore. I hope to do so in the near future.
Signage can take many different forms and sizes; from a tiny one inch square for a shelf label to a seven foot long banner for clothing promotions to a segmented box for selling CDs.
